Getting Started

Click on any of the links below to learn more about how to get started with each user class.

Signing up for an account on RealeFlix allows you to use all the features you need for finding properties in your area and contacting sellers. RealeFlix accounts are free and take only a couple of minutes to complete.

1. Go to the registration form.


2. Fill out the entire form and click the Register button. Under User Type, make sure the Browser bullet is selected.


3. Check your email for something from RealeFlix Accounts titled "Welcome to RealeFlix" and click the link inside it. If you don't receive it within a few minutes, check your Spam and Junk Mail folders.


4. That's it! You are now fully registered!

There are a variety of features inside your account to make your RealeFlix experience much more enjoyable. Here, we will discuss what they are and how you can use them:

My Messages:

This section works exactly like your email. It allows you to send and receive messages to sellers and other members of the RealeFlix community.

When you open up a message from another member, you will notice there are various icons in the upper right corner of the screen. Here's what they do:

	View Previous Message - Allows you to view the next oldest message in your RealeFlix inbox.
	View Next Message - Allows you to view the next newest message in your RealeFlix inbox.
	Reply to this Message - Lets you reply to the user who sent you the message.
	Block this sender - Prevents the user who sent you the message to send you any further messages. If they try to send you a message, they will be notified that you blocked them.
	Delete this message - Removes the message from your RealeFlix inbox.

If any of these icons are grayed-out (), that means the function is not available.

My Favorites:

This is a section where you can find the properties you bookmarked. Anytime you add a property as your favorite, it will show up in this area, thus preventing you from having to find them all over again.

You can have as many favorites as you want. Clicking the image under any of the properties in this area will delete them from your Favorties.

If you notice some of the listings in your Favorites have disappeared, it has to do with the publisher either deleting them or the listing expired and the publisher decided not to renew it.

RealePort

The RealePort is your personal assistant in notifying you of various things that may interest you on RealeFlix.

The first feature of the RealePort will notify you immediately when someone sends you a message.

The second feature allows you to receive hourly or daily reports on new listings that meet your purchasing criteria. Click the criteria link to see what options you can set.

Search For Property:

Provides you a quick link to access the search feature of RealeFlix.

Change Password:

This allows you to quickly change the password associated with your account.

Edit Personal Info:

If you want to change anything else associated with your account (i.e. personal image, email address, etc.), you can do it through here.

Upgrade to Publisher:

If you want to start publishing your listings on RealeFlix, you can upgrade your account to Publisher status at no charge here.

Close Account:

This deletes your account from RealeFlix.

The search function of RealeFlix can be found at the bottom of the homepage. To search for a property, simply enter the details of what you are looking for and click the Search button.

If you want to be even more specific in your search, click on the Advanced Search link. This will allow you to search by the number of floors, the amount of square feet and various other elements you may be interested in.

When you click on a property of interest, you are brought to its detailed listing, which provides a variety of information and features:

Publisher Details:

This is where you can learn more about the seller of this listing. Clicking on the View Profile link will send you to the seller's RealeFlix profile, which gives you information such as "About Me" information and testimonials from previous clients. If you click on Contact Member, you will be able to send them a message.

Video Player:

This is where you can view the true-video tour of the listing. Just click the Play button to start viewing.

Listing Details:

This is where you can find all the standard information on the listing. It also provides you with a variety of other features:

View Area:

Clicking on this link will provide you with an advanced bird's eye view of the surrounding area of the property.

Add to Favorites:

This allows you to add the listing to your Favorites so that it can be easily accessible through your own profile page.

Mortgage Calculator:

The Mortgage Calculator allows you to calculate the kinds of payments that are necessary for the property.

Email a Friend:

If you found a property someone you know may be interested in, you can use this feature and send them an email with all the property details with a few clicks of your mouse.

Promote Listing:

This provides you with a wide variety of things to help promote a listing. From the top social bookmarking sites to embeddable codes for your own site, you have a wide variety of promotional tools to help promote the listing with minimal effort.

Mark as Inappropriate:

To help keep RealeFlix a safe community, we provide you with the option of marking part or all of a listing as inappropriate in accordance to our Terms of Use. If you report something as inappropriate, the RealeFlix staff will look at it and take the appropriate actions.

Property Images:

This is where you can see all the photos the publisher posted with their listing.

Description:

This area allows the publisher to help better describe the features of the property that might not have been discussed elsewhere.

Member's Other Listings:

This provides you easy access to some of the other properties the publisher has posted on RealeFlix.

Similar Properties:

If there are similar properties within the area of the property you are looking at, some of them will show up here.

Recently Viewed:

This keeps record of the last four properties you looked at so you can quickly go back to them.

RealeFlix provides you with a variety of RSS Feeds for your personal use. RSS Feeds are simply a way to notify you of new listings without even being on the RealeFlix website.

All of our RSS Feed services can be found here. You can either use our standard feeds or create your own custom one.

My Listings:

This area shows you all of the standard listings you currently have posted on RealeFlix. Each listing shows you when it expires. In addition, you have the options of editing, renewing, or deleting each listing.

There is no limit to the amount of listings you can have on a single account.

Publish a True-Video Listing:

This is where you go to start the process of publishing your true-video listing for everyone to see on RealeFlix.

My Testimonials:

This section allows you to enter any and all testimonials you have acquired from past clientelle. Inserting your testimonials will make them publicly available to everyone who views your profile, which helps build credibility.

Search For Property:

Provides you a quick link to access the search feature of RealeFlix.

Change Password:

This allows you to quickly change the password associated with your account.

Edit Personal Info:

If you want to change anything else associated with your account (i.e. personal image, email address, etc.), you can do it through here.

Close Account:

This deletes your account from RealeFlix.

Publishing your listing on RealeFlix is a pretty straightforward process. When you are ready, either click the Publish Your Listing button on the homepage or click Publish a Listing in your account profile.

There are 4 steps to publishing a listing:

1. Property Details & Search Recognition: This is where you enter standard information such as price, square footage and location.
   
   In addition, you add your catchy sales phrase and keywords (i.e. words you think people would use to search for your listing) to get people's attention who are searching for listings in your area both through RealeFlix and on search engines.


2. Upload Media: This is where you upload your images and true-video tour. No photo-based slideshows, please.


3. Preview Your Listing: This is where you get to see the finished product of your listing and make sure everything is the way it should look.


4. Publish & Payment: This is where you pay for any listing enhancements you requested and complete the publishing process.

If you do not have time to create a true-video tour, we have provided a national database for you to locate independent videographers and stagers in your area.

The easiest way to access this database is to go to the Help section and click on the Outsourcing link. You also have the option of going to the Outsourcing section in the publishing process.
